Ever since 2006, we have maintained a very high level of recruiting. As of the 31st December 2007, the Group had 608 employees, almost double the number in 2006.
This increase is due to :
...as well as new staff included in the 3 organisations developed in 2006:
In total, 193 new staff have been recruited by Equalliance since 2006 (an overall increase of 55%). In a change to previous years, the increase in the number of employees is weighted heavily towards La Sit and Suites Résidences Group, each of which has a similar rate.
Staff growth within Océanis has been lower, due to the fact that the majority of regionalisation efforts were completed during 2006. This strong growth in staff, both internally and externally, validates our decision in 2006 to invest in an IT application designed to optimise human resources and time management.
This new program, used by the different human resources departments, initially requires a significant investment of time, but allows us to manage with greater precision forecast estimates for employment within the Group in the future.
In order to properly develop this exponential growth in employment, we have implemented a policy of professional training to ensure that new arrivals are equipped with all of the knowledge they need to best achieve objectives, to fulfil their role in the company and work best with other staff.
Annual expenditure for training is well above that required by law, so that this investment in new employees at the start of their employment does not diminish the capabilities and needs of existing personnel.
