Creation of Océanis Promotion.
Océanis develops a new concept in student residences: the Résidences Intelligentes© (Intelligent Residences) . These residences offer a superior level of service, to simplify and improve the daily life of students, thanks to which the occupationrate for these residences is far higher than the industry standard.
Oceanis and la SIT create the SGCR, a management company for Châteaux et Résidences, designed to manage hotel and student residences.
The specific fields of the group, promotion and development, are appreciated by Bouwfonds, a real-estate subsidiary company of the Dutch banking group ABN Amro, and a 50/50 joint-venture partnership.
The Oceanis group is structured into a financial holding corporation subsequently known as Equalliance, incorporating the 3 fields necessary to accomplish its goals: property development (Océanis), property management (la SIT) and running of the sites (Groupe Suites Résidences, previously SGCR).
The Natixis Group (previously Natexis Banques Populaires) becomes an Equalliance shareholder (20%).
On the 21st December, Apax Partners France, through its Altamir and Amboise Investissement, acquires a share in the capital of the group.
Equalliance improves external growth with the creation of Office Epargne Patrimoine, a company specialising in the distribution of savings and investment products.
Owatt was formed to allow its clients to benefit from its considerable expertise in quality of life, environmental protection and financial optimisation. Crédilog, a financial brokering service, was created in order to identify and negotiate the best financial solutions for all of our customers’ real-estate projects.
